Below is a list of the main duties that need to be accomplished to run EYSA. This is how the current board has divided responsibilities, but they can be divided in several ways. There is no set requirement for each role. Currently, all positions are unfilled. Those duties have been assumed by the three officers, President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
Handles the Association phone and answers questions, addresses concerns of coaches, parents, players and referees.
Works with local and state authorities for permits, licensing and insurance.
Takes minutes at meetings.
Maintains website
Handles registration process and player/team database,including team assignments.
Maintains the financial records.
Works with attorneys for taxes and corporate/non-profit status.
Sets up and tears down goals and nets at beginning and end of season.
Lays out field lines and maintains them weekly.
Works with NOGA to schedule and run a one-week soccer camp.
Works with photographer studio to schedule and shoot team photos.
Schedules referees for all games.
Maintains the team standings that determine the end-of-season tournament.
orders uniforms based on information from the Secretary and the player database.
Orders and maintains records on any other equipment used by the Association, such as goalie pennies.
Coordinates scheduling Clinics for coaches that need Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y. certification.

Makes orders and purchases for the concession stand.
